After seeing the new trailer for the upcoming Watchmen movie (based off the Alan Moore graphic novel) I have to say I’m pretty psyched to see it. Any trailer that uses music from the film Koyaanisqatsi (one of my favourite movies of all time) and other music from the band Muse (a super awesome band from the UK) is okay in my books. Also it’s a cool story and it just looks really slick.

I have! My nerd quotient might have doubled, though, because I have it on my laptop, not the paperback version. Lucas has good taste!

On second thought, Alan Moore does seem to address some pretty interesting issues in his work. Much deeper than the Archie comics I read when I was a kid!
I was a HUGE comic book nerd growing up (surprise!) and I read a lot of X-Men, Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman (and a few others on the side). But I never got into Alan Moore’s stuff until later, but I guess it IS for a more mature audience. Although I vow to never watch the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie.
