Here’s the slide show for Keri & Joshua’s wedding at The Stepping Stone Inn, one of my favourite venues near Westport!  Because it’s such a versatile location, they were able to get ready, have the ceremony, do portraits, and have the reception all on site, which is great for everyone!  I also ran into Amelia from Spa Gals On The Go, who always does an awesome job with make-up (and she uses an airbrush — how cool is that?).  The thing about this wedding that really sticks out for me were the heartfelt, poignant, emotional speeches.  Everyone did a fantastic job and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.  Thanks again, guys, for choosing me as your photographer for the day!  Enjoy the photos!

Although I haven’t done a lot of family photography in the past, it’s something I’m definitely more and more interested in.  I’ve been participating on a forum for parents for the last few years (ever since our son was born) and a group of them came out to Andrew Haydon Park in Ottawa a few weekends ago to have some family photos done.  Here’s a slide show of some of my favourites:

Congrats to the Lakers for winning the championship this year.  My Pistons kind of tanked all season, and definitely tanked in the playoffs, so hopefully we can come back with some smart trades and maybe a few solid drafts.  In the meantime, here’s puppet Kobe trying to hide is championship excitement from puppet LeBron, who was bounced in the conference finals by the Magic:

On Saturday I shot Jacqueline & Bradley’s wedding here in Kingston!  The last few summers I’ve been doing a lot of shooting out of town (Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Chatham, etc) so it’s nice every now and then to stay close to home and take advantage of the venues and locations we have here!  Jacqueline & Bradley had their reception at the Italo-Canadian Club and had their flowers done by Pam’s Flower Garden (where I had a booth at their bridal show earlier this year)!  Here’s a slide show of highlight images from the day, complete with multi-coloured shoes.

A few weeks ago I met with Allyson and Ryan to take some engagement photos in downtown Belleville, which was pretty cool because (even though it’s close) I don’t go to Belleville very often.  We wandered around and found some pretty cool spots and had a great time!  Allyson and Ryan are really funny, relaxed, and easy to take photos of!  Here are some of my favourites:
